THE MOBILITY SCOOTER CAMPAIGN
This is to encourage the safe use of mobility scooters and awareness in the wider population of some of the difficulties that scooter users experience such as blocked dropped curbs.
We are contacting community groups and the local police to encourage car drivers not to park in front of dropped curbs
We are also giving out copies of "The Highway Code for Mobility Scooter Users" - a very good booklet packed with useful information and advice for scooter users. Please ring the Beehive on 01375 389872 for a copy. We cannot, however, undertake to post out multiple copies of the booklet due to the high cost of postage but people may call to pick them up during office opening times.
